Advice on What to Feed Your Cat

Feeding cats can be very tricky as they can be quite fussy creatures.
They will often change their mind about the food they like at very short notice and can refuse to eat perfectly good food for no reason.
It can be very tricky to know what to do with them sometimes and it's good to have a couple of types of food available so you can give them something different once in a while.
Dry food can be easier to feed us it doesn't go off as quickly as canned wet food will want important issue.
There are many different types of dry cat food from supermarket own brand at the cheaper end of the scale to some big-name brands like Iams, Hills science, Royal Canin and James Wellbeloved.
When you feed your cats dry food you should be doubly sure the always have fresh water.
Pets need constant access to fresh clean water all the time but is absolutely vital when they are eating just dry food.
Wash and refilled the bowl at the least once a day.

Your vet can offer you the correct nutritional advice for your cat.
Food comes in three main types according to age: adult, kitten and senior.
The different types provide appropriate nutrients and nutrition for cats at particular age.

These are particular suited for adult cats with long hair who are more prone to hairballs.
They contain a natural form of cellulose which helps reduce hairball formation.
They also have a crunchy texture which helps reduce tartar build up to keep teeth clean and helps keep the gums healthy.
Iams works out as good value as they will be no waste, unlike with wet cat food which can get left and go stale very quickly.
If you have a greedy cat, then you should take care of the cats in the house get their chance to have some food too.
You can also get food suitable for fat cats.
If you are worried about your cats weight then you should take your vet's advice.
Keep your pets feeding area clean and clear of any old food.
Wash dishes regularly.
