- 1). Section off your hair into 1/2- to 1- inch sections and pin back with a hair clip. Make sure your hair is completely clean and dry.
- 2). It doesn't matter whether you begin with the back or front of you hair sections, so go with whatever is easiest. Take one section at a time and brush in the exact opposite direction that you normally would. Start at the bottom of your hair and brush upwards, causing friction and that "wild look" that you want.
- 3). Continue the same pattern until all sections are done, removing each hair clip when you finish. Then keep your masterpiece in place by finishing it off with hair spray.
- 4). Accent your look by taking sections of it and pinning them back with a pretty hair clip or barette.
