How to Create an Extraordinary Quality of Life

    • 1). Meditate to bring your mind and soul into balance. Spend time with your thoughts, clear your mind from clutter and reaching down deep into your soul. Listen to what your body tells you. You will not only find yourself in deeper harmony, but free to open your mind to everything the world offers.

    • 2). Set aside time to be productive and time simply to relax. Although people say it may take days or weeks to get a task done, most people spend time dealing with distractions. Set aside time simply to be productive and deal with nothing else other than the task at hand. You will find that not only do you have more time to do things you enjoy, but you can accomplish much more than you ever did before.

    • 3). Spend time with children, people a generation or two older than you and those less fortunate. They almost certainly have a different perspective than you do on several issues and it's wonderful to open your heart and mind to the way others see things in the world. By spending your time with them, not only do you give them the sense of value and importance, but you also become a better person in return.

    • 4). Look around at nature and the world that you live in and try to experience scenery that's different from what you normally surround yourself. City, country, mountains, oceans or wherever you live, you can find beauty everywhere if you just stop to notice it.

    • 5). Take time to learn something new everyday. Enroll in a college course, pick up a book from the library or listen to a lecture. These are all good ways to expand your mind and continuously be an active learner. Remember that there's no such thing as too much knowledge.
