- 1). Open "Internet Explorer" by double-clicking its icon on the desktop or selecting it from the "Start" menu.
- 2). Select the "Edit" menu and choose "Preferences." "Browser Display" should open automatically, but if it doesn't, select it from the options on the left of the floating box.
- 3). Click the "Tool Tips" box, making sure there is a tick in the box. Click "OK" to save the change. Close Internet Explorer and reopen it for the changes to take effect.
