- 1). Boil unwashed wool in water for a few hours.
- 2). Add salt to the boiling water to extract more lanolin.
- 3). Keep the water boiling until most of it evaporates.
- 4). Filter out the liquid. You will be left with the pale-yellow lanolin floating on the water's surface.
- 5). Add a mixture of olive oil and water to the lanolin and shake them together. This will remove all the impurities from the lanolin.
