- 1). Position the skid steer loader directly in front of the area where you want to put in the T-post. Raise the bucket of the skid steer loader so that the bottom of the bucket is parallel to the ground.
- 2). Ask an assistant to hold the T-post so that it is straight beneath the loader bucket.
- 3). Lower the bucket until the bottom touches the top of the T-post. At this point, the assistant should move at least 20 feet away from the post.
- 4). Push the bucket downward, using the appropriate lever, until the flanges on the sides of the T-post have sunk beneath the soil level.
