Is it possible to lose weight eating nothing but burgers, pizza and ice cream? Their are some junk food diet plans that have been shown to help you shed those extra pounds quicker than a regular diet.
Could this be true, having tried it, let me share the experience.
After trying many plans to lose weight, I came across what could be the most irrational way of shedding my extra fat, by eating bad products such as donuts, pastries, and french fries.
I have to admit, this does not sound healthy, but after giving everything else a shot, what could I have to lose? I started out by finding out exactly what I would be eating.
Even though it explained that I could devour everything, did it mean just that, or did I have to cut out certain things.
I was worried that this would be like a normal diet, a quick shake in the morning, a piece of fruit in the afternoon, and then a huge meal in the evening, just like every other plan.
Well I was glad to find out I did not have to cut back on anything I normally eat.
I also enlisted a friend who would try out a regular diet, whilst I would try this, junk food plan.
The first couple of days were quite easy, I was carrying on my normal routine without the need to check what I was eating.
My friend was kind of envious, and felt she got the short straw.
While I was devouring burgers, she was putting low calorie dressing on her green salad.
So who would shed the most pounds in the first week? When the weigh in came around, we were both apprehensive as to who would come through the lightest, me on the junk food diet, or her with the salad plan.
The results shocked us both, I did not lose much more than she did, and neither of us cheated, but I came through better, with 2 pounds lost against her 1.
6 pounds.
So could there be something to this revolutionary junk food diet? I will admit that I never thought that I could lose more weight than my friend, because of what diets had told us in the past.
The next week my friend stopped eating her green salads and changed over to what I was eating, burgers, pizza and ice cream.
So we have seen how a normal diet plan compares to non conventional plan.
Who would have thought that in these modern days of low fat and low calorie foods, that regular snack foods could help you shed those extra pounds.
