- 1). Turn on your rear wiper and then turn it off so the wiper rests in the middle of the rear window.
- 2). Lift the wiper arm off the rear window.
- 3). Find and press the release mechanism at the center of the wiper blade. It should be located where the wiper is connected to the arm's hook. For some brands of wipers, it could also be a small lever.
- 4). Slide the wiper out of the hook.
