- 1). Go up to the roof and disconnect the coaxial cable from the existing antenna.
- 2). Locate a bracket for the UHF component on the antenna. Set the UHF component in place and secure it to the bracket, with screws, using the screwdriver.
- 3). Connect a 3-foot length of coaxial cable to the connector on the VHF component of the antenna. Connect a second 3-foot length of coaxial cable to the UHF component of the antenna.
- 4). Connect the coaxial cable for the VHF component to the "VHF Input" port on the diplexer. Connect the coaxial cable for the UHF component to the "UHF Input" on the diplexer.
- 5). Connect the coaxial cable that runs into the house to the "Output" port on the diplexer.
- 6). Verify that the coaxial cable that runs into the house is connected to a converter box. The converter box should be connected to a television.
- 7). Press the "Power" button to turn on the television. Verify that you are able to receive digital channels.
