- 1). Place a jack under the car in the corner of the wheel you want to add the adaptor to and jack that corner of the car off the ground. Place a jack stand under the car and lower that corner of the car onto a jack stand.
- 2). Remove the lug nuts from the wheel with a lug nut wrench and pull the wheel off the car.
- 3). Place the wheel spacer onto the wheel studs and thread the original lug nuts onto the wheel studs. Tighten the lug nuts into place with your fingers. Keep centering the spacer as you turn the lug nuts onto the studs. With all of the lug nuts threaded completely onto the studs, tighten them with the the lug nut wrench. Torque the lug nuts to the wheel spacer manufacturer's recommended torque specifications with a torque wrench.
- 4). Place the new wheel onto the wheel studs on the spacer and thread new lug nuts onto the wheel spacer studs. Tighten the lug nuts with your tire iron.
- 5). Raise the car off the jack stand and lower it onto the ground. Repeat the steps with the other wheel spacers.
