I tent camped there in June 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

This campground seemed a little close together and commercialized at first. We drove back to a primitive group tent site. Many of the sites appeared too close together, but I was soon proved wrong. I hardly noticed the other campers at this site and it was very busy. The river is amazing.

Pros: The river made for a great experience.


We had a very spacious group site.

Cons: No firewood to pick up, you must bring your own or buy. Sites are still a little close. You can hear people rustle around in the morning. There is a train that runs behind the site, but it doesn't really affect your sleep.
