Tim Horton Children's Foundation Camps

• Tim Horton's coffee shops raise money to send underprivileged kids to camp for free in Canada and the United States. If you want to give your child a traditional camp experience but don't have the funds to send them away, consider trying to get him a spot at a Tim Horton Children's Foundation Camp over the summer or during March Break. Canadian campsites are located in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. Campers participate in archery, horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, obstacle course races and much more.
  
  Tim Horton camps take children that are 9 to 12 years old. If you're interested in nominating your child for a spot, contact her school and ask if its involved with a local Tim Horton's store owner looking for potential campers. Camp Quanoes

• Founded in 1966, Camp Quanoes is a year-round camp located in beautiful British Columbia, taking up a 50-acre stretch of waterfront property on Vancouver Island. Campers participate in both traditional and more obscure camp activities including mountain boarding and water games involving large, inflatable rafts and targets. Camp Walden

• Situated in Bancroft, Ontario, Camp Walden offers kids and teens boating, water skiing, rock climbing, campfires, orienteering, canoe tripping and much more. Campers into sports will love that Walden has hockey, soccer, tennis, football and other team games. Campers can stay for a minimum of three weeks or up to seven weeks at a time. The youngest campers in grades 1 to 3 have the option for staying for a shortened, two-week period. Visitors spend their nights in spacious cabins surrounded by Canadian wilderness.

EkoCamp

• EkoCamp attracts students from around the world looking to learn either French or English. Canadian citizens are welcome too. French Canadians come to improve their English, while English-speaking Canadians visit to hone their French skills. Language classes are mixed with traditional camp activities, including archery and canoeing.
