- If you are trying to use your unit and you don't have any spray, turn the unit off. Fill both tanks with water, remove and replace each tank and then turn on the unit and pull the trigger. If this does not solve your problem, check the pump belt for damage. See if the flow indicator filter cap is tightened securely. Another suggestion is to hold the tank over the sink, manually activating the valve on the bottom of each tank and check for water flow. You can also blow air through the heater to check for blockage or blow air through the trigger valve and check the function.
- When you find that your brush is not turning, check to see if the brush belt is on both pulleys. If it is, remove the brush and check the bearings and pivot arms. If you find any damaged components, replace them. The pump pulley may also have teeth damage. If so, replace the pump.
- Sometimes you may experience a lack of suction or poor water recovery from your unit. If this happens, check that the diverter valve is in the proper position and operates. Also make sure the tank and lid are seated properly. Ensure that the motor duct gasket does not get sucked in when the unit is turned on. If it does, pull up gently on the gasket. Check the tank lid for damage, make sure the float is not stuck in the "up" position and check correct placement of the gasket between the window and the main housing.
- A leaking tank can cause a large mess. If this happens to you, fill the bladder and look for any leaks. Also, fill the tank outside the bladder and do the same. There may be debris in the tank exit port. You may need to replace the whole tank assembly.
