- 1). Lift the wall oven into the cut-out cabinet opening. Be sure the oven is sticking out some at first. Have another person help, if needed.
- 2). Drill a hole 2 inches in diameter between the new oven and the junction box. Pull the cord on the back of the oven through the hole.
- 3). Push the new oven all the way into the cabinet space until it is fit evenly. Make sure it is touching the back wall of the cabinet.
- 4). Install the anti-tip mounting screws that came with the oven. Locate the holes in the top left and right corners of the oven and screw the oven to the cabinet.
- 5). Install the oven's bottom trim. Place the upper part of the trim over the the tabs on each of the side trims. Screw it securely in place with the screws provided.
- 6). Level the oven. Insert a rack in the center of the oven and place the level on it. Read the level diagonally in one direction and then the other. Place wooden shims under the oven to level it if needed. Repeat the process in the lower oven if it is a double wall oven.
- 7). Disconnect the power at the breaker box. Separate the white copper or green wire on the oven cable from the other colored wires and wire it to the junction box. Connect the corresponding colored cables to one another with wire nuts. Take the remaining white copper or green wire and connect it to the ground wire located in the junction box casing.
- 8). Turn the power source at the breaker box on. Turn the oven knob to "Bake" to test if it is connected and working properly.
