- 1). Wash the car with soap and water. Water and soap won't remove the dried paint, but cleaning the car will make the yellow specks and splatters more visible. Dry the car with a lint-free towel.
- 2). Inspect the surface of car for yellow paint. Park the car in a well lighted area or shine a high-powered light on the car. It may be easier to concentrate on one area of the car at a time.
- 3). Spray the yellow specks with a water bottle.
- 4). Wipe the yellow specks with a clay detailing bar. At first you will feel a slight resistance. Continue wiping the yellow with the bar. It is important to spray the car surface with water to keep it moist. Eventually the detailing bar will glide across the surface of the car. Continue wiping the surface with the bar until all of the yellow specks are removed.
- 5). Dry the area with a lint-free towel. Move to another section of the car and continue with the procedure until all of the yellow paint is removed.
