- 1). Press the button on the top of your iPod Touch to turn off the screen on the unit. This will prevent any accidental button presses while attempting to get the unit out of its case.
- 2). Put your thumb and forefinger of one hand on either side of the second generation Belkin case. Put just enough pressure on the case so that it won't fall out of your hand.
- 3). Put the forefinger of your other hand on the top of the iPod Touch. Push down on the iPod Touch. While you do this, gently squeeze the case with the thumb and forefinger of your other hand. Your hand should keep the case from moving, while pushing down on the device with your other hand will allow you to separate it from the case. Because the iPod Touch is stuck inside the case, you may have to press down on it with your forefinger quite hard to get it out.
