This is everyone's ultimate dream - to be able to find the fastest way to lose weight possible.
It seems that everyday someone has found a new secret way to lose weight, a method that will beat the rest and shed those pounds forever.
The method that I have used over the last few years has worked for me, and continues to work fantastically.
Below are some key guidelines that you must follow in order to be successful.
What you must not do:
If you run for 40 minutes at the same pace, your body starts to get used to the pace and adjusts in order to conserve energy.
However, if you sprint for 1 ½ minutes and then jog for 1 ½ and then sprint for 1 ½ (continue this on a loop) then your body is completely shocked and is unable to predict your actions.
This results in your body burning more calories.
This is by far the best way to exercise.

The method that I have used over the last few years has worked for me, and continues to work fantastically.
Below are some key guidelines that you must follow in order to be successful.
What you must not do:
- Never ever starve yourself, and never stuff yourself.
You ideally want to be eating 5 or so meals a day which allows your body to constantly burn calories.
If this is not possible, eat 3 sizable meals per day but have healthy snacks in between so that you do not become hungry.
When your body gets hungry, your metabolism rapidly decreases because it is trying to conserve energy for later (your body always tries to be as efficient as possible whilst burning as few calories as possible).
Therefore, by continuing to consistently eat you are keeping the furnace burning which keeps your metabolism high. - Always eat breakfast every morning.
Studies have shown that those who eat breakfast in the morning weigh less than those who do not. - Be wary of low carbohydrate diets.
I think it is important to eat carbohydrates during the day in order to keep your energy high, but I cut them out after 6 or 7 pm.
This is because I generally don't need much energy at night, and if I don't use that energy it gets stored as fat. - Try your best not to eat after 8pm at night for the reasons stated above.
If you eat after this time, it is highly unlikely that you will burn off what you consume - therefore you will end up storing the food as fat and gaining weight.
- Regular exercise.
Try to exercise heavily 2-3 times per week, and make sure you are walking at least 6000 steps per day.
I used to walk around with a pedometer which you can neatly store on your belt or trousers, making sure that I reached at least 6000 - 8000 steps everyday.
This makes a huge difference to your overall weight loss. - When you are exercising, instead of going for a 40 minute run, do interval training for 20 minutes.
This can lose you up to 10 times more weight than a 40 minute because you are constantly shocking the body, which results in more calories being burnt.
