- 1). Open the trunk to access the bulb assembly. The taillight assembly is located just inside the trunk hatch.
- 2). Pull the wiring harness connection off the back of the taillight assembly. Pull the connection straight back to disconnect it.
- 3). Remove the screws securing the trim panel with a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the trim panel off the rear of the light assembly.
- 4). Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove the bulb from the light assembly. Pull the bulb out of the socket and discard the old bulb.
- 5). Push the new bulb into the socket and insert the socket into the taillight assembly. Twist the bulb socket clockwise to secure it.
- 6). Reposition the trim panel and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Press the wiring harness connection into the connector on the bulb assembly.
- 7). Repeat the process on the opposite light if needed. Test the operation of the new bulbs.
