Add a carrot and see the difference 1) Munch on a carrot just before you begin eating your meal.
A sizable carrot has enough fiber in it to ensure that you feel full.
This means that you eat much less towards the end of the meal.
So you cut out on the high fat dessert or unhealthy carbs.
Since your stomach is being filled by low calorie high fiber carrots and not carbs and fats you lose weight when you are on a carrot diet.
2) Carrot juice is another great option.
Juice a carrot in a blender and have it before your breakfast/lunch/dinner.
You will then have less room in your stomach for heavy foodstuff and thus eat less.
A carrot diet reduces your calorie intake by 500 calories each day ensuring that you lose weight.
3) You could also make desserts out of carrots.
This gives you a lower calorie version of that ice-cream or cheesecake.
But be moderate in your consumption of these.
It is always a good idea to exercise while you are on a carrot diet.
Since you are already consuming fewer calories, a little amount of exercise added to it will go a long way in making you lose weight.
A carrot diet is a healthy way to lose pounds.
You consume fewer calories but at the same time you get adequate nutrients because carrot is very high in vitamin content.
In this way, you avoid the unwanted side-effects that often come from losing weight fast, such as missing out on nutrition which results in flaky skin and hair loss.
