Comforteer TG9S

The Comforteer TG9S series of gas furnaces has a maximum AFUE rating of 95.5 percent, which means that for every dollar you spend on heating costs, at least 95 cents actually goes to warming your home. The models in this series are Energy Star rated and are between 15 and 25 percent more efficient than older molder furnaces. The cabinets for these furnaces are 33 inches tall, and these compact cabinets will fit in basements, attics or small cabinets. You receive a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and a 10-year warranty on the parts.

Sold with a 10-year warranty on the parts and a 20-year warranty on the heat exchanger, the Comforteer TG8S series of furnaces has an 80 percent AFUE rating and are rated to save you about 25 percent on your heating bill over older models. The cabinets of these units are insulated to reduce energy loss and noise.

The Echelon series of gas furnaces include the CPLC and CP9C gas furnace models. The CPLC models have an AFUE rating of 80 percent, and the CP9C models have an AFUE rating up to 98 percent. These models are Energy Star rated for energy efficiency. The furnaces feature a variable-speed blower motor, which reduces energy consumption and increases overall comfort. The Echelon series also comes with the EcoTrak technology, which adjusts your furnace settings based on the type of climate in which you live. You receive a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and a 10-year warranty on the parts on the furnaces in this series.

Including the TM9M, TM9T, TM9X and TM9V models, the LX series has an AFUE rating up to 97 percent. This series also includes the TM8X, TM8V and TM8T models, which have an AFUE rating up to 80 percent. All the models in this series with AFUE ratings of 95 percent or higher are Energy Star rated. Certain models also come with the EcoTrak technology and variable-speed electronically commutated motor (ECM) fan motor. The heat exchangers are made of steel. You receive a 20-year warranty on the heat exchanger and a 10-year warranty on the parts on the 80 percent AFUE gas furnaces. You receive a 10-year limited warranty on the parts and a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger on all other models.
