- 1). Mix a quarter cup of lard with an eighth cup of sugar until you get a creamy mix.
- 2). Mix 8 ounces of powdered boric acid (the active ingredient in this bait), a half cup of flour and half of a chopped onion, and then add the mixture to the lard-and-sugar mix.
- 3). Add enough water to form a soft dough. Roll the dough into small balls or add a small amount in a small plastic bag for ease of handling.
- 4). Place the roach bait in areas where cockroaches live or are active in.
