- 1). Pull the leaf net cover off the swimming pool. Fold the cover back on itself while removing it to avoid dumping any of the debris on the cover into the pool water.
- 2). Spread the leaf net cover out on the ground. Weigh down each corner of the cover with a rock or other heavy object.
- 3). Apply a pool surface cleaner or pool cover cleaner to the bristles of a pool brush. Wet the surface of the cover lightly with water from a water hose.
- 4). Brush the entire surface of the cover with the pool brush. Push any heavily concentrated clumps of debris off the cover onto the ground.
- 5). Spray down the cover with water from a water hose to remove any loose excess debris. Repeat the brushing and rinsing process on any stubborn or overlooked areas of debris on the cover.
