- 1). Unplug the old refrigerator. If necessary, turn the refrigerator on its side.
- 2). Mark the desired location of the faucet with a permanent marker. Drill a one-inch hole over this marking, through the refrigerator door. Push the shank into the hole and connect the faucet to the exterior of the shank.
- 3). Connect one end of the beer line hose to the beer line disconnect adapter. Connect the other end of the hose to the fitting kit of the shank. Use about five feet of beer line hose.
- 4). Attach hose clamps to the hose connections to secure them.
- 5). Check the CO2 tank to ensure the flow is off. Attach one end of the gas hose to the dual gauge regular. Connect the other end of the CO2 hose to the air disconnect adapter. Attach the dual gauge regulator to the tank. Secure all connections with hose clamps.
- 6). Open the regulator valve of the adapter to begin pressurizing the keg with the CO2 tank.
- 7). Plug in the refrigerator.
- 8). Tap the keg. Attach the keg tap to the beer line that runs into the faucet. Attach the keg tap to the top of the keg.
