- 1). Cut four pieces of wire, and strip one-half inch of insulation from each wire end. Consult the specification sheet to identify the emitter, collector, and base leads on each transistor.
- 2). Twist together the collector leads from both transistors with one end of the first wire, and solder the electrical joint.
- 3). Twist together one end of the second wire with the base lead from the first transistor, and solder the electrical joint.
- 4). Twist together one end of the third wire with the emitter lead on the first transistor, and solder the connection. Twist together the free end of the third wire with the base lead from the second transistor, and solder the connection.
- 5). Twist together one end of the fourth wire with the emitter lead on the second transistor.
