If you've ever been to an internet marketing seminar, then you've seen the huge difference between those who make a lot of money and those who don't make any.
It has nothing to do with the information available - both are learning from the same "gurus".
It has everything to do with the mindset.
Failure or Feedback? I create a lot of products, both free and paid.
I test out a crazy amount of different ideas.
Guess what? Most of them don't work.
I've created products that I thought were outstanding that I couldn't even give away.
Then there were times where I've created stuff that I knew was valuable, but that I didn't think I would be able to market.
Some of those products have been my greatest success stories.
But here's what is most important - I never let fear paralyze me from trying out a good idea.
I don't fear failure, because I never experience failure.
I go into each new product with the mindset that I'm just going to try some things out and see if they work or not.
I'm not outcome based - I'm just doing it for the experience.
Since I'm trying a bunch of different things each month, I'm not too terribly attached to the success or failure of any of them.
This makes me very prolific and productive.
Almost every successful internet marketers share this same mindset.
Speed of Implementation I was at a seminar recently where one of the speakers gave what I considered to be a million dollar idea.
You know what I did? As soon as the speaker was done, I went up to my hotel room, got on my laptop, and immediately begin implementing that idea into my business.
I try to never delay the implementation of a good idea.
The quicker you reduce the amount of time between hearing a good idea and acting on it, the more successful you'll be.
Of course, I messed it up the first time I tried it.
I didn't even know how to set half of it up.
I just winged it, because I knew once I got it out there, it would motivate me to go back and make it better.
Plus, I was able to get instant feedback from the marketplace just by throwing it out there.
So while everyone else was deliberating about what might or might not work, I had already found out what did and didn't work for me.
So I left them debating about their theories why I looked at my bottom line and knew the facts.
If you can assume the two mindsets above, you will make leaps and bounds in your internet marketing business.
Don't be afraid to try anything.
And don't delay the time from hearing good information and acting on it.
Find a way to always immediately act on good information.
