- 1). Get a PVC T-connector that has a slightly larger inner diameter than your handlebars. Lay your T-connector on a tidy workspace with its bottom T facing you. This will form the top of your handlebar mount. Cut the T-connector in half with the rotary tool.
- 2). Drill a 1/4-inch hole into the PVC cap's center. Insert the carriage bolt into the hole.
- 3). Slide a flat washer and a lock washer onto the exposed threads of the bolt. Screw the two 1/4-inch nuts onto the bolt. Tighten the first nut but not the second. Screw the cap onto the T-connector.
- 4). Cut the rubber tubing. Use your T-connector as a size reference when cutting the tube. Cut a slit right across the tubing's length.
- 5). Slip the rubber tubing over the center part of the handlebars. Place the lower and upper halves of your T-connector around the rubber tubing.
- 6). Secure the T-connector in place or to your handlebars using your hose clamps. Tighten the hose clamps.
- 7). Mount the camera by screwing it onto the threaded end of the carriage bolt. Secure the second nut or bolt against the camera's bottom to prevent the mount from loosening.
