- 1). Insert your USB flash drive into your computer's USB port.
- 2). Click "Start" and "Computer."
- 3). Look in the computer file window for the name of your removable drive and double-click it. Some drives show up as "Removable disk (drive letter)." Leave the drive's file window open on your Windows desktop.
- 4). Open a second file window and locate the files you want copied to the other computer and drag them into the removable USB flash drive's open file window.
- 5). Insert the jump drive into the other computer. Click "Start" and "Computer." Double-click the flash drive's name in the computer window or the "Removable disk (drive letter)" option. Drag out the files from the USB drive into the folder you want them in.
