- 1). Set your alarm clock the night before and prepare your exercise clothes. Ask your spouse or partner to join you for moral support.
- 2). Write a list of the exercise regimen you will use including a warm up program. List everything on an erasable board that is easy to read.
- 3). Go to bed on time and get a good night of sleep so you body is prepared to exercise in the morning. Relax your body and try not to eat anything heavy before you go to bed.
- 4). Wake up on time and get dressed. Wear exercise clothing that is comfortable and easy to put on. I usually pray before I start my exercise program. Maybe you can read or meditate. Others watch the news.
- 5). Drive to the gym or walk downstairs to the basement with your exercise notes. Determine that you will start and finish the exercises.
- 6). Start slowly and work your way up to a sweat. The benefits to exercise are that you will feel better and work harder during the day.
- 7). Complete your exercise program and cool down. Make sure to include abdominal exercises. Exercise equipment can improve your muscles and tone your body. Use it!
- 8). Eat a healthy breakfast and get ready for the day.
