Chaos and Controversy, arrests, and of course charges of police brutality all seem to be part of the bigger picture in the "Occupy Wall Street" demonstrations and campout.
But, what are a bunch of Americans who live in the greatest nation in the history of mankind complaining about this time? My gosh, humans on planet Earth never had it so good in the past 10,000 years to my knowledge.
One of my good friends the other day said to me; "what the hell is their problem, go get a job!" I just laughed because anyone who has a job can't spend 2-3 weeks in a park at a giant shin-dig campout party, and indeed, isn't those who have a job who are paying all the taxes to pay for all the police out preventing these folks from misbehaving? Amongst some of the complaints out there are; off shoring, outsourcing, right-sizing, etc, and yes, while that really is a nice topic for political fodder, which I am fully up on, indeed, I just imagine that I am diametrically opposed in thinking on this with 99% of those protestors - me being totally free-market, free-trade, and free-enterprise guy, and having the benefit of Fredrick Winslow Taylor in my family tree.
For those who complain about capitalism, well, I just bet they haven't really participated in it much, and would rather spout communist and socialist philosophical nonsense.
There is nothing wrong with capitalism, in fact, any challenges on Wall Street come from the incestuous relationship of those in government running block for them, but that isn't free-market capitalism, as that is crony capitalism, which is exactly what you get when socialists and communist thinkers try to tinker and control the flows of the economy, resources, energy, and labor.
As a real free-market thinker, I am against over-regulation, despise lawyers, and am anti-bureaucracy and anti-union among other things.
I see the world in a more realistic way and don't allow excuses or weakness in my own life and certainly not from persnickety left-leaning socialist or democrat thinkers.
So, I don't fall into the empathy trap that corporations owe the worker anymore than they agreed upon on hiring day, nor do I believe it is the government politician's job to create jobs due to their dismal performance in attempting to guide the flows of labor, resources, capital, or money to themselves, their friends or their personal grandiose utopian vision of the world.
Okay so if anyone wants to debate me on this, and I assure you will lose, I'd be happy to rip you to shreds and make you look like a fool to anyone listening.
Sure that could be fun, so, your choice.
Please consider this Mr.
