During Junior Senator Barrack Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention he mentioned the collective, stating it's not just about you, it is about the collective.
Well, where does this word collective originate? It's a communist term, and if we no longer care about the individual, and the individual no longer matters then we have lost a good part of what America stands for.
Does this mean you no longer have the right to pursue happiness if it's not in the best interest of the collective, dictated by the government? We are entering a danger zone when thousands of people who do not understand communism or the new direction that the socialist-liberal agenda is heading.
Why are politicians in the United States using the word collective? Many of the nations in the EU are socialist by nature and those nations are not doing anywhere near as well as the United States.
We as a nation must be careful in embracing such notions, as history is filled with the failures of socialism and communism.
Collectivism does not work, it steals the identity of the individual and it is oh so dangerous to the freedoms, innovation and strength that we enjoy in this great nation.
Is America turning into a collective, are we moving into an era of socialism on our way to a communist beehive of humanity? Because if we are this spells the end of America as we know it, the end of a great experiment and a successful run that has led us to become the greatest nation in the history of mankind.
We must resist the collective and if we vote for our freedoms as we have in the past our resistance will not be futile, rather once again we will renew our strength.
