- 1). Turn off the dishwasher breaker in your breaker panel.
- 2). Open the dishwasher door. Remove the bottom dish rack.
- 3). Lift the tab on the water supply tube, located behind the filter assembly. Rotate the tube clockwise to release the wash arm. Lift the wash arm up and out of the dishwasher.
- 4). Remove the screws securing the lower wash arm support and the filter assembly to the bottom of the dishwasher. Remove the lower wash arm support and filter assembly.
- 5). Remove the foreign object protector by removing the screw securing it to the bottom of the dishwasher. The foreign object protector is located to the right of the pump inlet protected, which is a curved plastic piece covering the chopper.
- 6). Remove the pump inlet protector by first removing the screw securing it to the dishwasher and then removing.
- 7). Pry the old food chopper assembly out of the dishwasher by placing a screwdriver behind the blade.
