- 1). Open the door up all the way. Remove the inner retaining strap from the hook on the inside of the door with your hands.
- 2). Close the door. Undo the nuts at the bottom of the hinges using an open-end wrench. If the nuts seem stuck or frozen, spray the hinges with spray lubricant and then try again.
- 3). Open the door slightly. Pick the door straight up off the hinges and off the body of the Jeep. Carry it away from the vehicle and store it in a safe place. Repeat witht the other door.
