- 1). Click the "Safety" menu in the upper-right corner of the Internet Explorer window.
- 2). Select "Delete Browsing History" from the drop-down menu.
- 3). Un-check the "Preserve Favorites Website Data" and check "Temporary Internet Files," "Cookies" and "History."
- 4). Click "Delete" to confirm. The cache will be emptied.
- 1). Click "Tools" from the Firefox toolbar. Select "Clear Private Data" from the drop-down menu.
- 2). Check items you want deleted, and be sure to check "Cache." You can also delete browsing history and cookies at this time. In some versions of Firefox a "Time Range" menu will appear. Check the "Everything" box in this case.
- 3). Click "Clear Private Data Now." The cache will be emptied.
- 1). Click "Safari" from the Safari toolbar.
- 2). Select "Reset Safari" from the drop-down menu.
- 3). Check "Empty The Cache" and any other items you want to clear.
- 4). Click "Reset." Safari will now empty the cache.
