Dallas Holm has been called everything from a Christian music pioneer and forerunner to a legend and an icon. He's not comfortable with any of those adjectives. Instead he simply prefers to say "Through God's grace, I've been part of the Christian music ministry for a long time."

For Mother's Day this year, Dallas shared one of his biggest fans ... his mom.

Dallas said, "Mom was and remains one of my biggest fans.

She and dad bought my brother and I our first guitars and encouraged our musical journey. She is a wise and funny woman who continues to be a source of inspiration and guidance to me."

When asked how he has managed to still be a husband and a dad while being on the road for so many years, Dallas replied, "In the years I toured and throughout my ministry, I’ve always had a priority system that put God first, family second and ministry third. I was always careful to be home more than I was gone. To my kids, I was always just dad first and then musician, performer, minister, etc. I’ve now been married 38 years, my two kids are grown and love the Lord and we have two grandkids with another on the way."
