- The CoCo Key Water Resort is a 50,000-square-foot indoor water park that offers, among other attractions, tube rides on a faster-than-typical lazy river, a play area designated for children ages 3 to 10, and three 40-foot water slides. In addition to daily admission tickets, this Waterbury waterpark also offers season passes, birthday party packages, group discounts, as well as room and admission specials for guests at the hotel in which the CoCo Key Water Resort is housed.
- Six Flags New England -- which is located in Massachusetts and only a few miles from its border with Connecticut -- has a large water park in addition to its amusement rides. The park has many water attractions, including a fast-paced river, slides for tube and body rides and several areas specifically designed for younger children. Braver guests can try the Tornado, which is a 60-foot-tall water funnel. Additionally, Six Flag New England boasts a large 500,000-gallon wave pool.
- Located in Bristol, Connecticut, Lake Compounce claims to be America's first family theme park. It has both a waterpark, Splash Harbor and a theme park. Splash Harbor includes a lazy river, a water play area where guests can shoot water cannons and play under a 300-gallon water bucket, multiple slide and tunnel rides -- including one in the dark -- and a wave pool. The Lake Plunge attraction is a tube slide that ends in the lake.
- This Middlebury, Connecticut park has both amusement and waterpark attractions. Its Saturation Station is a multi-level water play area that features a 300-gallon water bucket, water cannons and twisting tunnel water slides. In addition, guests can enjoy swimming, playing or paddle boating in Lake Quassapaug. Guests can either choose to buy one admission ticket for both the water and amusement park or just for Saturation Station and Quassy Beach.
