Striking this statuesque pose is my son, Buster. He came to me as a scrawny 8 week old stray visiting a friend's house. They knew I was a cat type and called me in. After a clearance visit to the vet, Buster was adopted instantly. After cleaning more than 50 dead post-dusting fleas out of his bed and getting rid of the tapeworms, he grew to the 15 pound magnificent feline you see here.
He's a little high strung, but timid.
He outweighs his step-sister P-Nut (Cat of the Month May '07) by six pounds, but she put him in his place when they first met, and he knows she's the boss. He has since tolerated the introduction of three kittens over the years very well, befriending all of them. He's getting on in years like P-nut, coming up on his 16th birthday, but healthy and happy with a long way to go.
