- 1). Remove the sun visor. Loosen the screw and slide the sun visor from its support rod. (This applies to most vehicles. Should your vehicle use a different mounting technique, consult your vehicle's manual for removal instructions.)
- 2). Clean the support rod with a clean rag.
- 3). Lubricate the support rod. Wipe a very small dab of petroleum jelly on the support rod.
- 4). Slide the sun visor back onto the support rod and tighten the screw. Operate the sun visor to assure free and smooth movement.
