- 1). Grease a 2-lb. loaf pan with room-temperature butter. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
- 2). Sift the flours into a large mixing bowl. Stir in the yeast and salt.
- 3). Add the water, oil and honey. Mix by hand until a soft dough begins to form.
- 4). Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise at room temperature for 1 hour or until the dough doubles in size.
- 5). Knead in the dates, raisins, and sesame seeds. Shape the dough into the pan.
- 6). Cover and let the dough rest for 30 minutes. The dough should be springy when touched.
- 7). Bake for minutes or until lightly golden brown on top. Allow the loaf to cool for 5 minutes in the pan.
- 8). Transfer to a wire rack for further cooling. Slice with a bread knife and serve warm.
