- 1). Point your browser to a free file host website like FileFactory, MediaFire, File Dropper, YouShare or FileDen.
- 2). Click the "Browse" or "Upload" button to select your video file from your computer.
- 3). Follow the provider's prompts to add (upload) your media to the host's server. A server enables your media to be seen on the Internet.
- 4). Copy the resulting URL address that automatically appears when you finish the upload process.
- 5). Access the online area where you want to upload your video. Type in the "<a href="/links/?u= anchor code, follow this with the video's URL address, enter the name of the movie and finish with a closing "</a>" tag. To illustrate:

Your video is now uploaded to the Web page. - 1). Bring up your Web host and log in to your account.
- 2). Access the "Control Panel" area.
- 3). Click the "Public_WWW" or "Public_HTML" link that contains the directory for your website files.
- 4). Click the "Browse" or "Upload" button and follow your host's prompts for selecting your movie file and uploading it to your host.
- 5). Make a note of your video's location to get the URL address. For example, if you uploaded your file to the same area where your main index page resides, the address looks like "http://www.yourwebsite.com/video.wmv" or similar. Otherwise, if your movie is in a folder, the URL appears as the following:
http://www.yourwebsite.com/folder/video.wmv - 6). Repeat Step 5 above to upload your video to a Web area using the URL.
