I found out about this campground on my last trip, and I RV camped there in August 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
Pros: Campground is nice with good facilities.
Cons: Traffic inside campground was horrible. Literally thousands of golf carts. Unable to walk anywhere without having to deal with teenagers on golf carts with loud stereos. Also had items stolen from site two nights in a row.
On-site security has no control of campground.
Nearby attractions: Myrtle Beach
Further comments:
I have camped at every campground at Myrtle Beach over the past 40 years. I will not return to Ocean Lakes. Unless you like to camp in a city setting, this is not the campground for you.
