- 1). Imagine that you have a string running internally through your body from your feet up and out through the top of your head. Now, imagine that this string is pulling your posture as straight as it can be.
- 2). Keeping your shoulders relaxed, pull them back. Your head needs to stay perfectly still as you walk, without any bobbing or movement.
- 3). Stand with your right foot in front of your left, approximately 14 inches apart. Your feet should be slightly crossed with your weight on your back leg. Lock your knees to help keep yourself balanced.
- 4). Put one foot in front of the other while moving your hips slightly from side to side. The movement of your hips should be minimal.
- 5). Bend your elbows slightly, and move them back and forth alongside of your pants as you walk.
- 6). Keep your head up while projecting an attitude of confidence and coolness as you walk.
