I know you became a coach because you not only want to help others, you also want to be able to pay your bills and have a more relaxed working schedule.
You want to be your own boss and, of course, have more free time to do other things which are also very important to you.
Your resolution list for 2012 must include your success as a coach.
They are saying that the entire world will go through important changes in 2012, so be the first to make the change in your life.
Only then you can make a difference in other people's lives.
Your true value and passion You can start by acknowledging your true value.
Stop believing that those coaches who are already successful are better coaches than you.
They do not have your skills, your talents, your abilities, because you are unique.
So bring out your uniqueness and let others see what you can do.
Use your assets to your own advantage and create products, programmes, workshops to inspire your clients.
Be passionate about your coaching and share this passion with your clients.
Take every task and every step as a learning experience, which helps you become a better coach.
Target a market Do not coach everyone on everything anymore.
It is a waste of time, energy and resources.
Target a specific market and a world of possibilities will open up for you.
So think about the type of clientele you want to focus on for the following 12 months.
Then find out the 3 most important problems your target clientele have to face.
This way you can specialise in solving these specific problems, and your clients to will come to you just for that reason.
Always remember that people look for specialists, especially when they face a problem, so why not stand out in the market as the expert your target clientele needs? Turn failure into success It may seem like a paradox, but you must never let a setback or an unsuccessful attempt influence you.
In 2012, take every unpleasant experience and see it as a lesson to be learnt, which can actually help you reach your success.
Because you will know in time what steps to take and what mistakes never to make again.
What more could you offer or how to do it differently? The competition is fierce in the coaching industry, but by now you must know that you don't have to implement elaborate expensive marketing campaigns to promote yourself.
You already have all the tools you need to stand out among your competition: you are unique, you are an expert in your area, you understand your clients and know what they are going through, you are passionate and love your coaching.
You joined this industry because you want to reach as many people as possible, not only for the financial benefits.
So make sure your clients know all of that and they will come to work with you whenever they need help.
Be the coach you want to be There is nothing that can stop you.
The economy, social changes, your environment, are only external factors which cannot influence you if you do not let them.
If you know who you really are and what you want to achieve, then nothing and no-one can stand in your way.
Your determination can help you overcome any situation, and your experience will give you the answers when you need them.
When you find yourself at a crossroads, ask for help from your mentor coaches or your family.
You can even find inspiration from your own clients.
Your dedication to them and to their own success will never let you give up and will give you the strength to carry on.
Make 2012 the year of new beginnings, of your new successful coaching business.
You can actually have the clients and the revenue you have always wanted, a fulfilled life as a coach and as an individual.
Take action from January 1st and do not be afraid to make all the changes that can lead to your success.
Prove the statistics wrong and be among those coaches who have made it brilliantly in this industry!
