We love to see our children happy and nothing makes children happier than eating McDonald's.
As a child I can remember many days when my parents where away I would buy a lot of snacks and once school was out I would throw them all on my duvet covers and lay there in bed eating all day and playing video games.
When I would go to class the other kids would make fun of me and call me terrible names.
These names they called me would always be followed up by a roar of laughter by the other class mates.
Not once do I ever remember anyone coming to my defense.
The taunting at school is what would help drive me even deeper into my obesity.
When I was seventeen I had my first heart attack in the middle of class.
They rushed me to the hospital as quickly as they could.
Luckily I pulled through.
I would stay there for two weeks.
My doctor diagnosed me with type two diabetes and told me that the four hundred and two pounds that I had gained put my life in critical danger.
My parents had never before seem so scared for me.
Since then I have lost over two hundred pounds.
Now I have a daughter of my own.
She hates eating healthy much like I was she also has a craving for chocolates and other sweets.
But, we keep a strict eye on what she eats and make sure to manage the foods that we bring in our home.
In America obesity is the leading cause of preventable teen deaths.
In fact one out of four Americans are obese.
We all love our children and want to see them happy so if you love them make sure they eat right so they can live long happy and healthy lives.
