- 1). Find baby bottles and purchase one for every guest on your list. Use clear baby bottles so your guests will easily see the contents when they get the bottles. Find bottles with blue lids, if possible.
- 2). Measure the height from the bottom to the opening of the bottle.
- 3). Cut pieces of paper with a width that's two inches less than the height of the bottle. This ensures the paper will fit into the bottle. Cut any length you want because you'll roll up the paper before you insert it into the bottle.
- 4). Write details of the baby shower on the pieces of paper, including the date, time and address. You may also add information about where the mother is registered for gifts, if applicable, and let the guests know that they should bring the bottles to the baby shower so the baby will be able to use them.
If you don't have nice enough handwriting to pen the invitations yourself, ask someone who can produce a nice script. As an alternative, use your computer to create the invitations and use a nice italic font. - 5). Roll up each piece of paper and tie a decorative blue ribbon around it. It's also OK to skip the ribbon, as the paper will remain rolled in the bottle with or without it.
- 6). Insert each roll of paper into a bottle. Add blue confetti or even blue candies as decoration and put the lid back on the bottle.
- 7). Tie a blue ribbon around the neck of each bottle as decoration. If you plan to mail the bottles, place each one in a box and add newspaper or styrofoam to prevent it from moving around inside. Tape the boxes shut, write the addresses on them and affix the correct postage before mailing.
