- 1). Find a cardboard box large enough for the skillet to fit in easily.
- 2). Place a 1-inch layer of packing peanuts into the box, and place the skillet on top of the peanuts.
- 3). Fill the remainder of the box with packing peanuts. The packing peanuts will protect the iron skillet if the package is dropped. Iron will crack if the impact is hard enough.
- 4). Seal the box with tape, and wrap as you would any other present.
- 1). Cut and fold Bubble Wrap to fit the inside of the iron skillet, making the top of the Bubble Wrap level with the top rim of the skillet.
- 2). Cut a second piece of Bubble Wrap to fold and fit to the bottom of handle of the skillet, making the bottom of the handle level with the bottom of the pan. Tape in place.
- 3). Wrap the entire skillet in a single layer of Bubble Wrap, taping the wrap in place.
- 4). Wrap the package in wrapping paper as you would any other present. Add bows and ribbons, if desired.
