Today I would like for all of the leaders that are in any kind of business especially a home based business to evaluate themselves, and find out if you are adding value to your prospects.
Often times in business people have the tendencey to come off as sales people, and offer people a dream without building a relationship.
What we have to understand is that people want to feel comfortable with you.
They want to know that you are not just after their money.
"Well Sharita how do we do that one might ask?" For one- start off by promoting who you are and not your product or service.
Who are you and why should I sign up with you? Those questions should be answered in you promoting yourself.
Second- we must be ourselves.
That is so important.
If you can not be real about who you are, others will detect it , and lose confidence in who you are.
If you have a southern accent and you don't feel like you sound professional enough, and try to change your accent, some people may detect that and see that you don't believe in who you are.
Always see yourself as a leader.
I don't care how old you are, or who you are.
People may see me posting these blogs and say " who does she think she is, what does she know? shes only 22.
" Well you know what those are the people that will miss out on life because they are not coachable, and teachable.
What matters is that I get results, and I know that I am a leader! Third- give something for free.
That always works.
People love free stuff, I mean don't you? I'm sure Myspace wouldn't be as influential, and have so many people if it were not free.
Giving something free, wether its a free eBook or a discount on a product, that tells the prospect that I rather see you prosper with the information that I am giving you, than having you sign up with me.
Once people know that you care about their success of course they will eventually want to join with you.
They feel as if they have a greater chance of prospering once they join you, because if your giving away all this free information, that actually works, there has to be even greater techniques that they can only get on your team.
Many times with internet businesses people like to flaunt all the money they have made, and shoot a dream to people, and they sign up, and now that person has no training, and they are now upset and they think they've been scammed.
I find this to be especially true in the cash gifting programs.
So many people are making these videos and showing you how much they have made, yet they are not being a leader, their not showing the support and training they will have once you join their teams.
All you see is a whole bunch of UPS packages,and someone telling you "it's so easy folks, just make videos and you'll be making money just like me".
Guys that is not true.
there is a system for everything.
Now granted some people maybe lucky and just making videos works for them, but they still are not getting the income the could be making due to lack of training, but most importantly they are not helping the people they promised dreams to.
I know thats what happened to my father and I but I won't get into that.
Thank God I came into some great web 2.
