- 1). Place the loaves of bread on a rack or kitchen towel on the counter. Allow the loaves to cool thoroughly, for at least four hours, to ensure there is no residual heat in the middle of the loaves.
- 2). Wrap the loaves in regular kitchen plastic wrap. Place them in the freezer and allow them to freeze until they are rock-hard. This may take up to 24 hours.
- 3). Remove the frozen loaves from the freezer. Take off the plastic wrap. Package the frozen loaves in bags according to the directions on your Foodsaver system.
- 4). Replace the frozen loaves into the freezer, and keep them frozen until about 12 hours before you want to eat them.
