- 1). Park your Suzuki XL7 directly in front of a garage door or other flat wall.
- 2). Mark a vertical and horizontal strip on the wall directly in front of each headlight.
- 3). Measure 32 feet away from the wall and place some tape at that point. Reverse your Suzuki and park so that the headlights are directly above the strip of tape on the ground. Turn on your low beams and prop open your hood.
- 4). Insert your screwdriver into the outer hole on top of the headlight assembly to activate the adjustment pin that controls the vertical aim of the headlight. Twist the screwdriver to aim the headlight 2 inches below the center of the cross-mark of tape you left on the wall. Repeat this procedure for the other headlight and for the lateral adjustment pin.
