- 1). Remove your makeup with a moistened wipe prior to working out. This will keep you free from breakouts caused by pores clogged with makeup and sweat. Rinse your face with cool water after your workout. Pat dry and reapply fresh makeup.
- 2). Pin long bangs back with a barrette, and tie up hair with a scarf or fabric hair tie. This will keep your hair from absorbing excess sweat, and using soft fabric instead of an elastic band will prevent an unsightly hair bump when you remove it.
- 3). Use a blow dryer on the cool setting to dry any dampness in your hair. Use the cool air to dry off your face and neck, and to remove any lingering redness.
- 4). Puff a bit of powder onto your scalp near the roots. This will absorb sweat and oil quickly. You can use your powder compact or a bit of baby powder.
- 5). Use a damp washcloth to wipe away sweat from your underarms, bra line and other areas. Remove any caked-on deodorant as well. Reapply fresh deodorant.
