- 1). Strip 1 inch of shielding from the end of the spark plug wire with a straight razor, being careful not to cut the center core of the wire.
- 2). Insert the ignition terminal onto the stripped end of the ignition wire then put the terminal into the ignition wire crimper. Tighten down the crimper to connect the terminal to the wire.
- 3). Slide the ignition boot over the other end of the wire and down to the ignition terminal. Slide it over the terminal.
- 4). Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for the remaining side of the ignition wire, except first put the ignition boot over the wire before you strip the wire.
